Easy "Untouchable" trophy
If you die while trying to unlock the "Untouchable" trophy, pause game play and restart the level. Your death counter will be reset to zero.

Easy "Safety First" trophy
The helmets that you have to shoot off the Helghasts do not have to be on live targets. Simply shoot them off the corpses to build the count towards the trophy.

Easy "Melonpopper" trophy
When you cross the Salamun Bridge and lower it for the rest of your squad to cross, take the sniper rifle on the weapons rack. Walk out the door, but do not advance further down the bridge. Above the road is a turret with a gunner. Shoot him in the head and wait a few seconds. Someone will replace him. Keep shooting them in the head until you are awarded the trophy.

Fight against Radec
Radec is difficult, but not impossible to kill, especially if you are attempting to get the "Demonslayer" trophy for killing him in twenty minutes. Do not worry about him until you get the cinematic where he says "I guess you want to make it personal!" In the beginning he sends hordes of Helghast troops at you. Just dig in and kill them all. You will be on the ground floor for about three waves of troops. Then the doors on the side will open, allowing you to get to the balcony.
Note: Ammunition is limited on the balcony. Make your shots count. When you go up onto the balcony, there are two flamethrower Helghast waiting. Afterwards there will be two waves of infantry then a mixed group of infantry and knife wielding Helghast officers. Watch out, because when you are on the balcony they will come up from both sides. Take care of them first, then focus on the floor troops. After this wave you are greeted with RPG troops on the far wall of the room. Take them out, then go back to the floor troops. After about six waves you get another cinematic of Radec. You are now back on the ground level. He now phases in and out of invisibility, and shows up beside you and tries to knife you. Keep moving and shooting at him as he shows himself. After hitting him enough times, he retreats to the stairs in front of you. Keep shooting, and when he goes down the battle is over.

Return to last checkpoint

You will be awarded $20,000 each time a race is completed. Any race can be repeated as desired, allowing the $20,000 to be won again.

Safe freefall landings without parachutes
You do not need to use a parachute while free falling. Grapple the ground when you are close to safely land, regardless of the distance that you fell.

Lost reference
When flying too far over the northwestern island, lightning will hit your plane, destroying it. Stunt Jump out of it or you might die from hitting the wings or other parts of the plane. While slowly going down you will find the crashed airliner Oceanic 815 and the word "search" written on the beach (at coordinates X1275, Y3663). Run into the jungle to find the hatch (at coordinates X1769, Y4351), as well as hear the sounds of the "black smoke" monster.

Apocalypse Now reference
When flying a helicopter with weapons, destroy as many military objects (SAMs, radar, vehicles, infantry, etc) as possible. After a short time Rico will hum the song "The Ride Of The Valkyries", which was played during the famous air raid scene in Apocalypse Now.

Pink Slip Drift Challenge
Use the Nissan Silvia. Normally by default gear is third gear. When the challenge starts, accelerate. When start the cornering part, use the hand brake and shift to first gear. Note: To do this move, you must select "Manual Gear Transmission".

Last Man Standing challenge
At the start, wait a short time after the race begins before going anywhere. Go after about three seconds and catch up, but do not pass. Instead, stay behind them. Spook them one racer at a time. This will cause them to spin out and hit the wall, eliminating them from the race. Note: Some racers will take more than one spook to actually hit the wall.

Easy drift points
It can be difficult to get 1 million points in one drift in endurance races. To get easy points, hold Circle + X. While those buttons are held, swing your car left and right on the more straight parts of the track to keep the drift going. If you begin to lose too much speed, release Circle and press X firmly to get some speed. Keep the car from the walls. Once you get your speed back, hold Circle and complete your drifting.

1. The phone is to the left of the first guard.
2. Clear the area with two guards to reach a walkway leading to two locked doors. The phone is on the walkway between both doors.
3. Continue forward after entering the office area. The phone is on the desk on the left.
4. Enter the room with the Access Elevator switch. The phone is in the closed office next to this room on a desk.
5. Leave the falling elevator. The phone is on a crate to the right.
6. Climb out of the elevator. From this floor, go down the stairs to the floor below. The phone at the bottom of the stairs.

Cell phone locations: Miami Airport
1. Exit the room when the mission begins. Enter the opposite doorway. Look on the desk next to the corpse to find a phone.
2. After uploading to the second computer, enter the dark office. There is a phone in a unit near the end of the office next to the third server room.
3. After the server room ambush, enter the dark area with the white van. The phone is to the right.
4. Enter the baggage area. Walk to the end of the room in the left corner on the ground floor to find a phone.
5. Enter the other baggage area after the door shuts on you. Climb the ladder, then use the staircase on the right to reach an office. Enter the office to find a phone.

Cell phone locations: Montenegro Train
1. Go into the next compartment on your right when the mission begins to find a phone.
2. Drop down into the train car from the roof. The phone is near the ladder.
3. Jump across to the freight train, and make your way through the cars. The phone is to the right next to the first ladder you must climb.
4. Re-enter the passenger train, and make your way through the cars. The phones is on a crate in the second car.
5. After climbing to the roof of the train again and dropping down by a ladder, turn around to find a phone.

Cell phone locations: Casino Royale
1. Immediately after the mission begins, enter the room to the right. The phone is next to the television.
2. Enter the apartment. The phone is inside the bedroom on the left.
3. Enter the second apartment from the outside after the fight. Continue along until you reach a set of double doors to the left and a single door to the right. The phone is in the room on the right.

Cell phone locations: Barge
1. Immediately after starting the mission, you will find a hut on the right, with a television and a phone.
2. Rescue Vespa, then go down the stairs. The phone is on the right, next to a lathe, just before you go outside.
3. After going back outside, move directly to the left. The phone is on a crate at the far end next to a set of stairs leading on the barge.
4. Walk on the gangway to get on the barge. Directly opposite of that gangway at the far end of the barge is a large container that has a phone.
5. Continue along the right side of the ship to find a doorway, Enter it, then open the second door on the right. The phone is on a shelf.
6. Make your way up to the top deck of the barge. The phone is in a control room just before some walkways.

Cell phone locations: Venice
1. Proceed until you enter a small alleyway with clothes hung up to dry around it. Directly in front of you (before going up the stairs) is a walled area with a seat. The phone is on the seat.
2. Clear the courtyard, and the gates will open. Go through them, turn left, then take the first right. The phone is on the ground next to the door.
3. Once past the courtyard, follow Vespa, and cross the balance beam. There is a phone on a chair as soon as you cross the beam.
4. Kill the mercenaries, then cross the courtyard to reach some stone stairs (bridge). The phone is on the left of the stairs in a flower bed.

Cell phone locations: Echo Hotel
1. Avoid the car at the start of the mission, then search in front of the burnt out car to find a phone.
2. Immediately after entering the underground parking garage, enter the office on the left. The phone is inside.
3. Go to the rear and right of the underground parking garage. There is another office with a phone inside.
4. After leaving the parking garage, hack the door, and go inside. The phone is in the kitchen area to the right.
5. Leave the burning kitchen, and enter the dining room. The phone is inside the closet at the far end on the right.

Cover
While attachted to cover lean in the middle. If you are on the ends, the enemy can still see you and can easily kill you.

New Armour Suits
To unlock other Iron Man suits all you have to do is complete the One Man Army missions which are unlocked throughout the game.
You'll have to beat 80 enemies within 10mins to unlock a new suit which can be used in mission archive or again in One Man Army.

Easy One Man Army missions
In One Man Army missions, take out as many air units as possible quickly, especially jets as they are too fast to chase and difficult to shoot down. This is especially true in Arctic Battle or the One Man Army Mission 3 (vs. Mercs), as the jets are difficult and required to complete the mission. Take them out as they fly off the runway to defeat them effectively.

Suit parts
As you unlock parts to your suit in Story mode, they will become usable in past missions in Mission Archive mode.

"AIM-X" mission: Easy completion
This is a very challenging mission, with anti-air defenses everywhere. Immediately go for the couplings. Take as little time as possible on defensive units. If you take your time destroying them and go on to other couplings, the couplings will be repaired and defenses will be reinforced. Immediately after their destruction, go to the center and destroy defenses. Hide under the platform to recharge your armor. Once the defenses are substantially diminished go to the top and strafe Horgan, keeping the cannon below and in front of you. When he charges his attack, drop behind the cannon. He will hit it and damage it. After a few times of doing this, not only will you defeat Horgan but also get the hero objective of destroying the cannon.

Recover energy
Use your lightning bolt (which does not cost energy) to charge light post, battery, or another object that can be drained of energy. Drain it after it is charged. If the object does not explode, your entire energy meter will be filled.

Charge Now, Pay Later
Although there are tons of energy sources for you to drain in most cases, you sometimes get caught in a tough spot trying to survive at a location where there's no more energy to drain.
Use your lightning bolt (costs no ENG) to charge a battery, light post, green dumpster, train car, or other drained energy source, then drain it once it is charged. If the object doesn't overload and explode like Zeke's batteries, you will be able to recuperate your entire energy meter and have a good place to use your precision shot to take out enemies.

Move!
When enemies are firing on your position with rocket launchers etc. you, if it, could lose all of your health, if not most of it. To avoid this, move about, then while your enemies are reloading take your shot and throw some lightning grenades. Doing this can get you out of some really hairy situations especially if the enemy is using guns that can miss you easily if you are moving.

Infinite XP
After you get Thunderstorm you have to protect three separate electrical boxes to restore power. Use Thunderstorm to do so, then die, walk away from a box your protecting or restart the mission all togeather to keep all the XP you have earned. If you're using Thunderstorm you can kill everyone very quickly and rack up a good deal of XP quickly.

Easy AC/DC Trophy
An easy way to get the AC/DC Trophy is to go to one of the substations and, before you re-establish the circuit, absorb electricity from it. It doesn't run out, so after a few minutes the Trophy will be yours.

Corpse Batteries
Once you have killed someone, shock their body with your basic lightning bolts (no energy needed). While they are sparking, use L2 to absorb the energy and recharge.

Easy XP
In The Warren, find a Dustmen Conduit. These guys spawn small, scorpion-like creatures. These creatures die very easily, and the Conduit will spawn 3 at a time at a frequent rate. Find a safe spot (like a rooftop) where the Conduit will have trouble hitting you with his rocket launcher, and the creatures won't be able to get you. Then from up there you can safely attack the creatures for easy, unlimited XP.

Charge Now, Pay Later II
After shocking a pedestrian once, walk up to them, lock on, and press SQUARE repeatedly to. You will suck the life out of them and replenish your power.

View Your Game Stats
You can view your stats for a saved game by highlighting it in the Load or Save Game menu.

You have to be an Outlaw or Infamous to attempt this. Go to the prison where there are ample SWAT officers. Take a SWAT officer out, but don't kill him. Instead, use the Healing Touch Triangle move and, while he's getting up, take him out again. Do this repeatedly for infinite experience.
