Characters
Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding character.
1. Deadpool: Complete the Washington D.C. level.
2. Green Goblin: Defeat Green Goblin and Venom at the end of Wakanda Act 3.
3. Hulk: Collect all five Gamma Regulators.
4. Iron Fist: Choose the Rebel side.
5. Jean Grey: Collect all five M'Kraan Shards.
6. Ms. Marvel: complete the New York City level.
7. Nick Fury: Complete the game.
8. Songbird: Choose the Register side.
9. Thor: Collect all five Asgardian Runes.
10. Venom: Defeat Green Goblin and Venom at the end of Wakanda Act 3.
11. Gambit: Score 30,000 or higher, obtain as many data discs as possible, defeat as many enemies as possible and go to the exit in his bonus mission
12. Cyclops: Score 30,000 or higher, protect him and the civilians and defeat Scorcher in his bonus mission
13. The Thing: Score 15,000 or higher, defeat the Lizard and all other enemies in 9 minutes or less on his bonus mission
14. Storm: win 25,000 coins while standing in Thor's way.

New Game+ mode
Successfully complete the game under the Legendary difficulty setting.

Legendary mode
Successfully complete the game under Heroic or Super Heroic difficulty setting. Go to the Briefing Console to get the option to start a new game in Legendary mode with all previously unlocked heroes, level and abilities.

Alternate costumes
Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding costume. Note: Nick Fury does not have an alternate costume.
1. Captain America (Classic): Defeat 50 enemies as Captain America after choosing Anti-Reg.
2. Daredevil (Secret War): Defeat 50 enemies as Daredevil after choosing Pro or Anti-Reg.

2. Blows Up Real Nice (Bronze): Throw all the proximity mines in "Balance."
3. Hotfoot (Silver): Complete "Escort Duty" without disabling any floor hazards.
4. Low Deductible (Bronze): Complete "Escort Duty" without destroying any turrets.
5. No One Left Behind (Silver): Complete "Insidious Alliance" with all four heroes left alive.
6. Old Foes (Bronze): Defeat "Overload" with the X-Men.
7. Perfect Balance (Silver): Defeat 75 foes in "Balance."
8. Walk It Off (Silver): Progress through "Insidious Alliance" without breaking any Health Containers.

Easy Attitude points
Talk to all characters in an HQ. Select the "Aggressive", "Diplomatic", or "Defensive" responses. Save the game, quit, and reload that area. Repeat all the conversations with different responses. You will add to your previously earned Attitude points.

Defeating the final Boss
If you are having trouble defeating the final Boss in Legendary mode, try to use Storm. She is immune to his elemental attacks, thus making the battle a lot easier.
