Hidden Recruits
There is a hidden character that can be unlocked for each class by doing specific in game tasks. They are unlocked as follows:
1. Audrey (Lancer): Earn 10 or more medals
2. Emile (Sniper): Unlock Oscar's hidden potential, the let him die in battle
3. Knute (Engineer): Enter the Command Room with 1,000,000 DCT
4. Musaad (Scout): Beat the game

Completion bonuses
Successfully complete the game. Load your cleared saved game file to resume the game with the following bonuses.
1. Character Stats: You retain the EXP, Money, Weapons and Levels that you've gained on your previous excursions
2. Hard Mode: You unlock Hard Mode which can be selected ONLY for Skirmishes.
3. Mission Replayability: You can now play all of the storyline missions as many times as you'd like (You will need to go through chapter by chapter clearing the missions the o
4. Music Tab: You can now listen to the various musical pieces from the game
5. Statistics Tab: You can now see the statistics of the missions (The rank you gained for the particular mission, and the number of turns it took you to complete)

Medals
Unlockable Medals List:
1. Excellence in Armament: Commission all weapon upgrades and collect all enemy ace and royal weapons
2. Excellence in Leadership: Learn every order
3. Excellence in Technology: Commission all tank upgrades (including all three level 3 Edelweiss upgrades) and collect all enemy ace tank parts
4. Fouzen Service Medal: Complete the Chapter 10 battle
5. Gallian Front Commemorative: Complete all chapters and reports
6. Gallian Medal of Honor: Complete the Chapter 9 battle
7. Ghirlandaio Service Medal: Complete the second Chapter 15 battle
8. Naggiar Service Medal: Complete the Chapter 14 battle
9. Order of the Golden Wings: Train all character classes to level 20
10. Order of the Holy Lance: Earn an A Rank on any chapter battle after Chapter 10
11. Order of the Holy Shield: Complete any chapter battle after Chapter 10 without any of your units being reduced to 0 HP
12. Randgriz Crest of Honor: Earn and A Rank on every battle, including all reports and all ranks of all skirmish battles
13. Savior of Gallia: Beat the game and begin a new game from the saved file
14. The Bronze Arms of Gallia: Kill 250 enemy units
15. The Crimson Heart: Have a soldier who has fallen in combat survive eiter by calling a medic or clearing the battle before they die
16. The Golden Arms of Gallia: Kill 1000 enemy units
17. The Lance of Gallia: Kill an enemy ace
18. The Silver Arms of Gallia: Kill 500 enemy units
19. The Splintered Horn: Let a character who has unlocked his/her hidden potential die in combat
20. The Wings of Solidarity: Unlock the full personnel profiles for all recruits

Bonus missions: Behind Her Blue Flame
Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding mission.
Mission 3: Get an "A" rank in all previous missions.
Mission 2b: Complete the first mission after defeating the Boss tank in the southwest section of the map.
Mission 2a: Complete the first mission without defeating the Boss tank in the southwest section of the map.

Ruhm weapon: Valkyria Chronicles: Behind Her Blue Flame
Complete Mission 1 and either Mission 2a or 2b. Note: This weapon can be used in the main game.

EX Hard DLC Unlockables
Three of the EX Hard (or Expert Mode) skirmish missions award the player with a weapon if you can Kill the Enemy Ace AND complete the mission.
1. Anti-Tank Flamer Attachment: Kill the Enemy Ace in East Bank of Vasel EX Hard Skirmish. Near the center of the map and in the center of the Imperial's central force.
2. Anti-Tank Sniper Rifle: Kill the Enemy Ace in Marberry Shores EX Hard Skirmish. Ace is wearing Gallian attire in the small base separating the beach from the interior.
3. Imperial Anti-Tank Lance: Kill the Enemy Ace in Naggiar Plains EX Hard Skirmish. She's atop a sniper tower equipped with an AT Lance.
